Got Pain? Not Everyone Wants Relief...

So, this month found me in the presence of someone who'd completely torn the ligament of her middle finger on the hand she uses most, her right hand.

This finger was deformed and swollen, sticking straight up.  This 50 something year old lady loves to bake, make blankets, hold her grandchildren...do things with her hands.  She suffers from three generations of crippling arthritis & severe bone degeneration.

So, upon seeing her condition, hearing her story, listening to her family history...I said, "Let's get you on the machine, we can fix that in a few weeks!"  (Meaning the Wellness Pro 2010 of course!)  The response I got was fascinating.

Known, proven technology to promote re-growth of ligaments, tissue matter, bones and eliminate pain in the meanwhile was offered to her, free of charge.  She was offered it all.  Complete freedom to not follow in her Mother or Grandmother's footsteps...to be able to use her hands, pain free...for free.

SHE REFUSED.  She turned me down!

She was proud to have the same condition her lineage bestowed upon her.  She told me there was no way anyone was going to do anything to change her condition.  That it would do what it was going to do, regardless of any treatment.

She chose to keep her crippling, degenerative condition along with all the pain and I was forced to let her.

This baffled me!  Why wouldn't someone want pain relief?  Who wouldn't want to be treated for free?  What did this person have to loose?  It was a real stunner.
I remembered a scripture whereby the Disciples were walking along and found a man who was crippled.  They asked him what he wanted.  He responded that he wanted to be healed.

I'd never really understood why they asked him what he wanted.  I thought it was obvious, until I met this lady.  Then it dawned on me that not everyone wants to be healed.  Not everyone wants freedom from their diseases or pain.

Some people just want to talk about their pain & have people feel sorry for them.  Don' t be one of them.  The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.  Don't continue in ignorance.  Ignorance & Insanity are great friends, they run in the same gang.

I came away from this encounter with a deeper understanding of the human condition which seems to boarder or hover on insanity.

Which side are you on?

Are you open to the gifts that come to you?  Or do you just refer to your own limited knowledge and understanding?  We all bring different skills to the table.

It's like offering your child it's first bite of chocolate cake & the child says, "NO, I HATE CHOCOLATE CAKE!" ...but it's never even tasted chocolate cake before, so how does it know if it's good or not?

As humans, we all have different knowledge, skills, education...we need to blend them instead of separating them.  Lemons make a better drink with sugar, water & ice for example.

My message to you today is this: Free Your Mind & Stop the Insanity.

Put the Glass Down

This morning an email arrived from a dear friend with an important reminder.

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience.

As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question.

Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: "How heavy is this glass of water?"
Answers called out ranged form 8oz to 20 oz.

The psychologist replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter.  It depends on how long I hold it.  If I hold it for a minute, it's not a problem.  If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm.  If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed.  In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."

She continued, "The stresses and worries in life are like this glass of water.  Think about them for a while and nothing happens.  Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt.  And if you think about them all day you will feel paralyzed - incapable of doing anything at all."

It's important to remember to let go of our stresses.  As soon as stress arises, let it go.  Don't carry burdens through the day, evening or night.

Remember to put the glass down!

A Wake Up Call

One can almost hear the high pitched ring of this alarm clock from just looking at it.
It grabs your attention and all of a sudden long unfinished lists come to the forefront of one's mind.  Maybe laundry isn't finished or the end of month report is late.  The car needs an oil change or Jimmy needs a haircut...

Whatever springs to mind, I bet it has something to do with something you haven't finished yet, something you forgot to do or have been meaning to do but put off.

And I'll further bet that when these things come to mind, they cause pain in some form, emotionally or physically!  Wouldn't it be easier to manage the emotional, day to day life stuff if your body felt better physically?  If it wasn't in so much pain?

It's amazing the effect a picture can have on one's psyche, isn't it?  I mean, how many people when they see this alarm clock think "Oh great it's time for broccoli, YESSSSS!" or "Looking forward to working late, again!"  Anyone?  Didn't think so!  I think these things are sent to lead us down the road of life in the direction

Well, I heard an old fashioned alarm clock ring loud and clear when visiting a Holistic Practitioner in Dallas.  My Mother was raving about a curious machine which was producing great results in her body, completely eradicating her chronic knee pain so she took me for an introduction during a recent visit back home.

Instantly amazed and fascinated by what I'd experienced after a 30 min session holding two metal cylinders in my hands, I started delving deeper into what made this cutting edge machine so unique and effective in today's holistic pain management industry.  Basically, to find out what all the fuss was about!

So, after Jupiter aligned with Mars along with the buzz from the alarm clock in my head, a natural turn of events guided me onto the holistic wellness path full time.

I've adapted the TEAcreatives website to share the latest information and feedback on my work with Bio-Electric Medicine using the Wellness Pro 2010 Machine.

If you have chronic or intractable pain and can't abide all the pain medication then this just might be what you've been searching for!

Maybe there's an alarm going off in your head about your pain and other holistic options that work, long term.

Maybe it's time to focus on you, a pain free, all natural, side-effect free YOU!

Till next time...B Pain Free but if that's not possible, then contact me!

The End Of An Era

Greetings...

It's been ages since I've been inspired to share any thoughts with you.  So here are a few I've been mulling over this year.

1.  Is it vital/essential to throw any old anything up on these blogs just to satisfy SEO rankings and stats?

Me thinks not.  My silence has in part, been in rebellion of the entire social media wave of information overload.

There's an old school part of my being that won't put down my fountain pen to write a note/letter and seal the envelope with wax and my crest.

I understand that one has to conquer the wave of 3D and digital communication etc...but at what cost and to what length is this really effective overall?  Time will tell.  What happened to picking up the phone, making an appointment and meeting someone eyeball to eyeball...even if that's via Skype?

2.  Is it vital/essential for Photographic Rep's and Consultants to fill their stable with photographers just to show numbers or have more chances of gleaning work for their shooters?

Me thinks not.  At least, not for me.  I've decided to lighten my creative backpack and sharpen my focus on extreme exclusivity, regardless of what is normally expected of Rep's.

There's just far too much quality of life I'm missing by increasing my stable of talent, so I'm on a fresh new path of unloading, shifting and re-organizing my company to accommodate and support the life that suits me best for a change!

3.  This is the only country in the world that allows/tolerates such lax business practices of not returning phone calls, or emails.

When I call Europe or Asia creatives within Agencies answer their phones...return emails...what a concept!  When did this country start slacking in it's correspondence/manners?  Think about it.

4.  While the economy is doing whatever it's doing it's refreshing to see many volunteering and pooling resources to keep award shows going and the pulse of the industry alive with old fashioned human blood sweat and tears...kudos to all who made the AdFed MN Best of Show happen this year....it rocked.  Well done to all who participated.  www.TheShowMN.com

5.  Basically everything old that has always had value is still vitally important: manners, live communication and follow through. Everything new is old instantly...technology is changing at rapid speed...so what does one do?

Keep being true to your core and forge your own path while playing well with others...and please, please check yourself before bringing another iPad to show your portfolio...it just ain't working in all genres...and let's not forget this...if you don't invest money in your own advertising and promotion the monthly e-campaigns aren't gonna make you famous.

Remember this: your Rep isn't your Therapist or your Mother...your Rep is another tool in your toolbox but shouldn't be alone in said tool box!

Peace.
